Our Story

We are a team of four students at TASIS, The American School in Switzerland: Sophie, Gunes, Sofiya, and Ella. Sophie and Gunes are the two of the four cofounders of the Innovation and Economics Club at TASIS, where we explore real-world problems through creativity, design, and entrepreneurship.

As club leaders, we decided to enter the Conrad Challenge as a hands-on learning experience and challenge ourselves to create something meaningful. While talking with students at our school, our team noticed a common issue: many students forget to take care of themselves in small but important ways, for instance when it comes to daily vitamins. Swallowing pills is inconvenient, easy to forget, and hard to turn into a daily habit.

That is where MoodiSip began. We wanted to design a solution that fits naturally into students’ lives instead of adding another task to remember. MoodiSip makes wellness simple by turning vitamins into part of something students already do every day: drinking water or other beverages.

MoodiSip is a reusable straw with a built-in capsule chamber that holds dissolvable vitamin capsules. As liquid passes through the straw, the capsule slowly dissolves and releases nutrients into the drink. The straw is designed to be used with water or other beverages and can be refilled with different capsules. MoodiSip is paired with an app that selects which capsule to use based on user input. The system combines a physical delivery mechanism with digital guidance.

Our goal is to make self-care feel easy, approachable, and realistic for students, starting with our own community.
